Snowshoe Mountain Resort is one of West Virginia’s premier ski areas. It is located in Pocahontas County, and is considered the biggest winter resort in the entire mid-Atlantic region. When the area gets a big storm, Snowshoe is one of the first mountains to fill up with skiers all vying for a spot on the mountain.
