About Devil’s Head Ski Resort
Located in South Central Wisconsin, Devil’s Head Ski Resort has been called one of the Midwest’s top areas to ski. The resort is home to 500 vertical feet of skiing on one of Wisconsin’s highest mountains. Devil’s Head has 30 groomed runs with the longest stretching over 1.5 miles. There are 260 acres of skiable terrain. The resort averages around 70 inches of snow each season. Ski season generally runs from December through March.
There are a range of chair lifts including three Quads, one Triple, six Double and two Magic Carpet lifts. In addition to downhill skiing, there are 3.5 miles of groomed cross country trails that loop around Glacier Golf Course.
For those interested in snowboarding, Devil’s Head has a park with natural banks as well as jumps, boxes, rails and a pipe. The terrain is somewhat challenging and can make for an action packed experience.
Lessons For All Ages
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier or snowboarder, Devil’s Head has lessons that can help you master the mountain. There are group sessions such as Beginner Group Ski and Learn To Ski. All instructors are trained professionals. If you require more attention than a group session can offer, consider a private ski or snowboard lesson.

Devil’s Head Pro Shop has a range of items from clothing to accessories. For those forgetting items such as sunglasses or a thermal shirt, the Pro Shop is sure to have those as well as anything else you might need for a day of skiing.
The rental shop at Devil’s Head has the latest equipment for skiing. Both adult and children rentals are available for downhill and cross-country skiing. Helmets can also be rented for $6 a day.
Devil’s Head has many dining options for those visiting the resort. From cafeteria style eating to fresh grilled items to gourmet meals, there are many dining choices to pick from as well as bars for those wanting a drink after a long day of skiing. The dining options include:
